Saudi Arabia’s First AI-Powered PC: HUMAIN Unveils Horizon Pro

Tareq Amin, CEO of the Saudi company HUMAIN, announced today an unexpected product from the young firm: the first Saudi-designed computer, created to mark a leap in the fields of computing and agentic artificial intelligence.
The new computer was unveiled during a fireside chat between Tareq Amin and the CEO of Qualcomm at the Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii, USA. The event was attended by the MENA Tech team, who were present to cover the key announcements and explore the new laptop and its capabilities.
The HUMAIN Horizon Pro is powered by the Snapdragon X Elite processor family, delivering superior AI performance alongside a CPU capable of operating at speeds up to 100 times faster than human thought, according to the company.
What makes the new computer particularly interesting is its support for a new proprietary operating system called HUMAIN ONE, built primarily on artificial intelligence. Although the system has not yet been released, HUMAIN states that it will be unveiled soon. The OS will enable users to manage enterprise workflows, communications, and AI applications through a unified, adaptive interface designed to anticipate needs and accelerate decision-making.
HUMAIN says the new computer was developed to align with the way humans work. It offers instant-on performance without delay, battery life exceeding 18 hours, and 40% lower power consumption compared to rival systems, along with advanced thermal engineering to ensure high performance in challenging environments.
HUMAIN’s AI integrates the Saudi large language model ALLAM, which is Arabic-first and runs locally on the computer to achieve maximum speed and data protection. At the same time, it provides the flexibility of hybrid AI by connecting to the cloud when complex processing or broader insights are needed—offering enterprises the ideal combination of performance, control, and scalability.
Commenting on the unveiling, HUMAIN CEO Tareq Amin said: “The HUMAIN Horizon Pro represents a radical transformation in agentic AI personal computing, particularly in enterprise environments where AI collaborates with users both locally and in the cloud to enhance productivity.”

For his part, Cristiano Amon, CEO of Qualcomm, said: “The HUMAIN Horizon Pro represents the future of intelligent personal computing. […] We are proud of this partnership with HUMAIN, which delivers on the vision of revolutionary agentic and hybrid AI personal computing.”
The launch took place at the Snapdragon Summit, a Qualcomm event held over the past few days to announce its latest products and highlight key partnerships across chips, mobile innovations, computing, and artificial intelligence.
According to HUMAIN, the Horizon Pro will be made available to both enterprise and consumer users. Companies can deploy the device at scale through a monthly subscription to HUMAIN’s AI solutions, with a leasing option to reduce upfront costs and free hardware upgrades. For consumers, the device will be offered for personal and creative use, shipping preloaded with HUMAIN AI applications and ready for activation, with the ability to add extra capabilities on demand.
It remains unclear when the computer will be officially available to users, and pricing details have not yet been disclosed. However, early adopters can already register their interest through HUMAIN’s official website, Humain.ai.
